Now hiring for 4-day work week Monday- Thursday.


Day Program Coordinator Position Summary:

The Day Program Coordinator will develop specialized programs and groups to increase clients’ community involvement and independent living skills. This role will actively carry out scheduled teaching, training, or monitoring functions as directed. This is a full-time position.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and conduct innovative day program groups to maximize the independent living skills of clients.
  • Maintain records of client attendance in groups,
  • Provide Community Support Teams with information on client progress as needed.
  • Using electronic medical records, input data and following through seeing services to their completion.
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
  • Transport clients to and from the program as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in the Human Service field and/or two years of professional experience working with chronically mentally ill clients.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Valid full driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Experience using an EHR (electronic health record).
