About the Role
Future Planner Careers is seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Coordinator to support our professional development and internship initiatives. In this role, you will be the logistical backbone of our career resources program, ensuring smooth operations, building valuable partnerships, and directly shaping the experience of our candidates.
As the Program Coordinator, you will work closely with the Program Manager to track success metrics, recruit top talent, and facilitate engaging educational events that drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership & Outreach: Leverage platforms like Handshake and various social media channels to connect with university partners, professional organizations, and prospective firms to expand our network.

  • Candidate Recruitment: Lead the screening and interview process for prospective internship candidates, ensuring a high-quality and diverse cohort for our programs.

  • Event Coordination: Spearhead the logistics, scheduling, and execution of both in-person and virtual events. This includes organizing firm tours, educational webinars, and skill-building workshops for participants.

  • Resource Development: Design, create and organize comprehensive training materials and resources for program participants to utilize throughout their development journey.

  • Data & CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of program participants, partners, and engagement metrics utilizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Performance Tracking: Generate and present detailed weekly reports on key program metrics, analyzing data to help the Program Manager optimize operations and outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Prior experience in program coordination, university recruiting, or educational administration is preferred.

  • Familiarity with recruitment and networking platforms (specifically Handshake and LinkedIn).

  • Experience utilizing project management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for organizing contact information, ability to demonstrate accurate data entry, methods used for tracking activity, and data management.

  • Strong event planning skills with the ability to manage logistics, collaborate with marketing and community outreach teams for both virtual and physical environments.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Zoom webinar, Google Suite, Canva, Notion

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently interview candidates, provide comprehensive notes, and engage with external partners.

  • Highly organized with follow up items for task assignments, timely responsiveness, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
