Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Cost and Schedule Control Analyst / Principal Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
  • Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
  • Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
  • Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
  • Incorporating contracts changes into control systems
  • Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
  • Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either as a Cost and Schedule Control Analyst or a Principal Cost and Schedule Control Analyst
Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years OR a Master's degree with 0 years professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business-related experience. 6+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence & Analytics tool, Project Management & Planning tool and/or Collaboration & Integration tools.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance.

Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years OR a Master's degree with 3 years professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business-related experience. 9+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel(including Pivot tables, V-look Up, VBA and/or Macros).
  • Experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6).
  • 1 or more years' experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment; EVM Certification will be accepted in lieu of one year experience.
  • Experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
