Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications below.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
  • Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
  • Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
  • Incorporating contracts changes into control systems
  • Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
  • Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required

Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level or at a Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree (Principal level requires 5 years with a bachelor's; 3 years with a Master's; or 9 years with a HS diploma may be accepted in lieu of degree)
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Principal level should also include Pivot tables, Vlook Up, VBA and/or Macros)
  • Requires experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools.
  • Principal level requires 1 year experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques; using EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6) (EVM Certification will be accepted in lieu of one year experience)
  • Principal level requires experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Experience working in Deltek Cobra, Microsoft Project, or Oracle Primavera
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
