Production & Fulfillment Associate - Entry Level
spotLESS Materials is an exciting startup spinning out multifunctional anti-fouling coating technology developed by Penn State researchers with the mission of using technology to make a positive global impact across numerous industries. Based in Centre Hall, PA, spotLESS Materials is currently seeking candidates for a Production & Fulfillment Associate position to support our company's product manufacturing and order fulfillment operations. This is a full-time, entry-level position.
Responsibilities
As a Production & Fulfillment Associate, you will label, bottle, shrink wrap and inventory products; box and fulfill orders; and perform other product manufacturing and fulfillment activities, such as receive, sort, load, and unload production materials. Successful candidates will use online software to manage and print shipping labels and manifests. The Packaging Associate will be expected to follow all company, laboratory safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time are required to perform the various job duties. Other requirements include: attention to detail with excellent communication skills (via email, Slack, etc.), ability to respond to verbal and written direction, work effectively as part of a team, good problem-solving skills, ability to learn and use computer software programs (e.g. labelling).
This position requires the successful candidate to have the physical dexterity and ability to perform inventory, manufacturing, packing, shipping, and receiving duties. The Production & Fulfillment Associate will regularly work on repetitive tasks using manually operated systems (e.g., bottle labeling, liquid dispensing, bottle capping, etc.). Frequent bending and stretching to pack and move items and regular lifting of items up to 30 pounds is required.
NOTE: This role involves chemical/material handling, so familiarity/working knowledge of laboratory safety is a plus. Laboratory experience may lead to additional opportunities for this position, commensurate with experience.
