Job Summary

Hiring Now!!  - Cardiovascular Technologists, Cardiovascular Sonographers and Respiratory Therapists

Positions are available both Main Sarasota Campua and SMH-Venice Campus 

CVT Requirements:

  • Require graduation from an accredited Health Science program (Associate of Science degree or higher).
  • Require Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS and/or RCES), Radiological Tech (Registered) CV, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RCIS), or RN (RCIS).
  • Require current licensure or registration in the state of Florida (excluding CVT) (through C.C.I.).
  • Require current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within ninety (90) days of date of hire.
  • Require that CVTs working in the Cardiac Cath Lab must take call. They must be available to be contacted and report to work within thirty (30) minutes.

CV Sonographer Requirements:

  • Require graduation from a Cardiovascular Technology Program (AS, BS, or AA degree with emphasis in life and physical science).
  • Require registration in either vascular technology or cardiac sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RVT and RDCS) or adult cardiac sonography and vascular specialty from Cardiac Credentialing International (RVS, RCS)
  • Require training by the American Heart Association in BLS and/or ACLS within thirty (30) days of hire date.
  • Require two (2) years of pertinent cardiovascular experience.

Respiratory Therapist Requirements:

  • Require an active State of Florida licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) under Florida Statutes, Chapter 468.
  • Require graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • Require American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire
