Job Title: Warehouse Operations Associate
Location: NorthEast Electrical Headquarters in Brockton. 100% on Site
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Position Summary

As a member of the Quality team, the Warehouse Operations Associate will work closely with warehouse associates in all departments informing them and the CDC Leads of any discrepancy or issue regarding a process error found. Issues and discrepancies will be documented for management review to improve inbound and outbound quality from the CDC. This position can and will be moved throughout the CDC auditing various customers and materials.  This position operates in a warehouse environment with a moderate noise level and regular exposure to warehouse equipment and activities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Audit a percentage of lines for all processes in the CDC daily (i.e., receiving, put-away, bin integrity, picking, packing, staging, loading).
  • Audit and correct non-conformities with product staged for selected customers.
  • Audit a percentage of orders picked by associates not meeting quality goals.
  • Audit new picking associates in their introductory period until they have met their accuracy expectation (zero errors).
  • Document all audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute quality reports and findings to management.
  • Inspect for damaged material and replace it as needed.
  • Ensure proper pallet preparation in staging, such as:
    • Pallet build - items on the bottom not crushed by heavier items.
    • Pallet condition - not damaged
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, verbal, written, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Eclipse and Solar software preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment, and forklift procedures.
  • Electrical distribution or product knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with associates, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
