Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)
Location: Omaha NE
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Evenings
Pay: $2,320.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced emergency department team. This role involves providing immediate and critical care to patients experiencing urgent and life-threatening conditions. The RN will perform rapid assessments, deliver emergency interventions, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures and emergency interventions (e.g., CPR, intubation).
  • Monitor vital signs and patient status, responding promptly to changes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Licensure: Current RN license in [State].
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of emergency or critical care experience preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and trauma care.
