Job description

Hours & Schedule

  • Shift:
    • 2:15PM - 12:45AM
  • Schedule:
    • Monday – Saturday with two rotating days off 
    • Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay Range

Pay Starting at $22.89/hour 

Pay Premiums: 

  • $3.00 per hour for night shift hours (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • $2.25 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)

Job Summary

The General Production role is responsible for preparing, packaging, and inspecting cheese products in a fastpaced environment. Duties include loading cheese onto production lines, performing quality checks, monitoring automated equipment, and completing accurate production and regulatory documentation. Associates will be assigned a department upon hire (ex. dice/shred, aged, etc) vacuum packing, salting, peeling packaging, or tying product as required. The position also maintains sanitation standards, ensures proper labeling and coding, identifies product or equipment issues, and provides support across the department as needed.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • High School or GED preferred
  • Three (3) months or more of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

This role requires the ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing between 20–50 lbs, as well as frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and exposure to vibration. The work environment may involve exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), high humidity, and loud machinery.
