Job description

Maintenance Technician - Brownsville (Day Shift)

Hours & Shift

Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating

Hours: 5:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Range

  • Starting hourly rate: $35.21 and up, based on experience, skills, and interview evaluation.
  • $3.00 an hour night shift premium from (6:00PM-6:00AM)
  • $2.25 an hour weekend shift premium (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus paid within the first 30 days of employment
  • $3,000 retention bonus paid upon successful completion of 6 month of service.

Job Summary

Do you want to continue honing your maintenance skill set? As a Maintenance Technician, you will work as a team or with the other Maintenance Associates and Team Managers and assist in all functions of the maintenance areas as needed, including but not limited to assemble, install, dismantle, maintain, and repair intake and processing equipment, distribution, supporting equipment, and all other processing equipment to update or replace existing equipment, update technology, prepare for repair or replacement, PM’s, and to keep it running efficiently.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of related mechanical or electrical experience and/or training; OR
  • Completion of a state recognized Apprenticeship program which includes four (4) years of related experience

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

20-50lbs lifting, Climbing, Humid, Extreme Cold and Extreme Hot Temperatures.
