Job description

Outside Showroom Sales Associate to own and develop existing customer relationships and develop new customers in assigned markets. They provide superior service to Famous Supply customers in person and via phone, the Famous Way. Outside Sales Associates build sales relationships with contractors, builders, and remodeler customers to get the materials and solutions they need, where they need them, and when they need them so they can complete their job. A sales growth focused individual who is able to open doors & talk with new potential customers for our showroom business.
Annual salary based on experience, $55,000+.
Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Drive & grow Showroom sales of window & doors along with Kitchens & bath product lines in the Columbus market.
  • Be able to cold call & develop new accounts for this showroom business.
  • Maintain this Showroom sales growth through local architects, builders, remodelers, and trade professionals.
  • Be responsible for an account base of customers with target sales goals & budgets.
  • Collaborate with a great team of inside showroom associates to work and drive these customer showroom sales.

Required Experience and Skills
  • Experience with contractor/builder/remodeler sales calls. Experience with working with Architects and Designers a plus.
  • Knowledge of residential window and door as well as kitchen & bath product categories.
  • Ability to understand and navigate blueprints, submittals, and the construction process of these specific product categories
  • At least 3 years working sales in this respective market
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to use computer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
