Position Summary:
Oklahoma City University invites applications for the position of Principal Faculty, Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in the Physician Assistant (PA) Program. This is a full-time, 12-month non-tenure track position located in the heart of Oklahoma City. The successful candidate will contribute to the education and development of future healthcare professionals and play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the PA program.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide didactic education and course coordination for first-year PA students.
  • Facilitate small group learning experiences and provide clinical instruction.
  • Offer academic counseling and support to students on academic issues.
  • Collaborate with program faculty and staff in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical rotation sites.
  • Serve as a mentor and advisor to PA students.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and professional development.
  • Contribute to university and program committees as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Oklahoma.
  • Current certification by the NCCPA and eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma.
  • Experience in graduate-level education preferred, including syllabi, test, and lecture preparation.
  • Ability to work autonomously in providing direct patient care services.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in PA education and providing direct patient care services preferred.
