The University of South Dakota Business Office is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the University's financial operations by performing a variety of accounting and transactional duties while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of financial information.
In this role, you will primarily support accounts receivable, student accounts, and front-line customer service functions, serving as an important resource for students, faculty, staff, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain accounts receivable transactions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist with student account inquiries and related financial processes.
  • Provide professional, responsive customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial transaction processing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience working with Banner or similar enterprise financial systems preferred.
