Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of the Employee Health Supervisor and Employee Health RN. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, verifying demographic information, maintaining employee medical records, as well as other clerical duties. Maintaining supplies and clinical space. Clinical duties may include taking and recording pertinent medical histories, assisting with the new hire process, annual medical surveillance, screening, FITT testing, and administering vaccinations. Participate in vaccine clinics for employees and the public when scheduled. Participate in Employee Health programs under the direct supervision of the employee health department.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year of Clerical - Administrative Assistant experience
  • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Associations
  • Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program within 6 months of employment
  • Certified Medical Assistant within 6 months of employment

Upon successful completion of theCertified Medical Assistant Program, you will transition into a CMA role.
