EAGLE ZONE SUMMER LEAD PROGRAM ASSISTANT - SUMMER
Eden Prairie Schools is seeking Eagle Zone Lead Program Assistants to assist in the implementation and delivery of the summer Eagle Zone school-age care program, and in the support of out-of-school-time programming at the site level in accordance with quality assessment tools. Please see the attached job description for complete details about this position.
POSITION:
Eagle Zone Summer Lead Program Assistant (SUMMER 2026)
LOCATION:
Cedar Ridge Elementary, Eden Lake Elementary, Forest Hills Elementary
CLASSIFICATION:
MSEA Level II
RATE OF PAY:
$21.11
HOURS PER DAY:
Depending on program needs, candidates are hired to work 6-8 hour shifts per day. The length of shifts may vary from day to day.
START & ENDING TIME:
The program operates 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. We will work with candidates to plan around schedules as much as possible. However, we will only accommodate as much as programming allows.
POSITION DATES:
Hired candidates must be available to complete required training on both of the following days:
June 11 and June 12, 9:30 AM 6 :00 PM
Eagle Zone Summer Programming runs Monday Friday from June 15, 2026 through August 27, 2026.
Eagle Zone is closed on June 19 and July 3.
Please note: At the time of hire, candidates should be prepared to confirm any pre-scheduled vacations. Staff must be able to work through August 27, 2026.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Training will be required for all staff. The program will offer training to all staff who are not certified.

Experience:
  • Two years of experience working with children, planning, organizing, and promoting programs, preferred.
  • Experience working with volunteers preferred.
  • One-year successful experience working with elementary aged children in a childcare or education setting, preferred.
