Job Summary
This Community Program Assistant position is designed to assist in administrative and technical work in support of the State Opioid Response College Adopt-A-School initiative. This person will assist in planning, implementation, data collection, data entry, and careful, exact documentation within the contract/grant and institutional guidelines. The position will include work with a state contract/grant to prevent opioid misuse and abuse.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
STATE OPIOID RESPONSE PREVENTION PROGRAMMING : Attend state required meetings and webinars. Assist in implementation of Strategic Prevention Framework model for opioid misuse and abuse to include a needs assessment, capacity building, planning, implementation of selected strategies, and evaluation of programs. Assist in preparing state required reports monthly. Data entry into state database of monthly activities. Attend meetings with community partners.
OTHER DUTIES : Attending staff training and program meetings. Participating in project planning and development of interventions while ensuring adherence to accepted scientific research principals and community engaged approaches. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and experience in a community prevention programming.

Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases

Pay Band: B6
Salary Minimum: $18.85 - $21.63
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
