Job Summary
Under the direction of the Community Program Manager for Senior Volunteer Programs, the Community Program Assistant will assist in planning and carrying out events, assist with volunteers, and develop community relationships. This is a part-time position that serves at the discretion of the Community Program Manager, is dependent upon the workload and grant funding.

Minimum Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing and be able to read and write in English, bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to transcribe material, use proper grammar in correspondence, perform a variety of office duties involving volunteers.
• Strong organization skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Ability to interact professionally with supervisor, subordinates and other co-workers.
• Ability to work independently of daily supervision and to exercise discretionary judgment and thinking.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening and background check.
• Valid NM Driver’s License. No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years.
• Ability to perform all essential duties as listed below.
• Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described below.
• Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed below.
• Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County.
