We are now seeking an Opal Memory Care Program Assistant to join our team!
What you'll do:
  • Foster a truly person-centered approach to programming and care, using Leisure Care's unique approach of delivering intentional, meaningful activities to our memory care residents.
  • Build calendars with purposeful and meaningful activities that support resident preference.
  • Develop programming that meets the preferences and interests of those residing in the Memory Care community.
  • Partner with Program Supervisor or Guest Services Manager to create schedules for community bus service.
  • Decorating the community for holidays and theme events.
  • Research, interview, and schedule entertainment for events.
  • Maintain relationship with outside vendors for resident activities.

What you'll bring:
  • Prior experience in programs for seniors and/or senior services.
  • Experience with seniors and/or seniors with dementia a plus.
  • Ability to interact with in a positive, empathetic manner with seniors, their families, referral sources and the community.
