Job description

POSITION:               21st Century Program Assistant
LOCATION:              Amherst Street Elementary School
WORK YEAR:          2025 - 2026 SY (5 days/week, 3 hours/day, Monday-Friday)
SALARY RANGE:    $12 per hour
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The 21st century program is designed to support academic enrichment after the school day for students in Title 1 schools in Nashua.  Program Assistants work alongside certified teachers and enrichment instructors to support them in the homework club and in a variety of enrichment activities. Arrange and distribute snacks, maintain clean and safe space for students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful applicants have excellent verbal and written communication skills, use of technology, proactive problem solving, teamwork, innovative thinking, creativity, patience, and flexibility. Experience working with elementary school aged children is preferred.
