George Washington Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team. Our Dietary Aides play an important role in supporting the nutritional needs and overall well-being of our residents.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, have a positive attitude, and take pride in providing excellent service, we would love to have you join us!
What You'll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you will:
  • Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents.
  • Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
  • Deliver meal trays to residents as needed.
  • Assist with meal service in accordance with resident dietary needs and preferences.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Assist the dietary team with other duties as needed.
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and their families.

Qualifications
  • Previous dietary or food service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
