Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Serving as an expert analyst and/or advisor to executive management on a major mission or administrative program and when representing DHS at meetings and conferences;
  • Determining the applicability and effect of new or proposed legislation, executive orders, agency directives, and other agency decisions on organizational operations, managerial programs and requirements;
  • Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of an agency-wide or department-wide program;
  • Coordinating activities of staff; advise and provide analytical support on problem definitions, planning methodologies, policies and procedures; and
  • Developing and coordinating planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management.
