Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across various industries to identify job opportunities.
  • Conduct business development meetings, cold calling, and outreach activities, including attending events or job fairs, canvassing, and networking to expand employer partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals related to employer engagement, job placements, and client outcomes.
  • Track account activity, job leads, and placement outcomes using Salesforce and Excel.
  • Prepare reports and updates for leadership on account performance and client progress.
Employer and Job Seeker Client Support
  • Deeply understand and communicate employer specifications to ensure skills, competencies, and other requirements are clearly understood.
  • Collaborate with career coaches and service teams to match job seekers to appropriate opportunities and provide feedback regarding candidate fit.
  • Screen job seekers from diverse backgrounds for client employment opportunities to accurately assess their skills, goals, and barriers to employment.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with employers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support interview coordination, hiring events, and employer recruitment initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

To reach these goals, we look for Account Manager candidates who have the following qualifications on day one:

Communication
  • Ability to clearly and professionally engage with employers, job seekers, and internal teams.
Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking
  • Ability to assess complex situations, make decisions, and resolve issues independently or escalate when necessary.
Sales Experience
  • Comfort with conducting outreach (cold calls, networking, canvassing, etc.), relationship-building, and driving results in a performance-based environment.
Relationship Management
  • Ability to establish trust and maintain ongoing partnerships with both employers and job seekers.
Technology and Systems
  • Ability to navigate database systems and a variety of digital tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and related business tools to maintain accurate, timely, and complete data on placements and services.

Preferred Qualifications
  • While a degree is not required, a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Human Services, or a related field may be beneficial.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in account management, workforce development, business development, staffing, recruiting, or sales.
  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, employment services, workforce development, or employer engagement.
  • Demonstrated success developing employer partnerships and generating job opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success meeting performance goals related to placements, employer engagement, outreach activities, and business development.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize technology tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, outcome tracking, and reporting.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, especially Spanish.
