Job description

FinQuery stands at the forefront of accounting automation, driven by a deep specialty in contract-driven accounting. Our AI-enabled platform transforms how controllers and finance teams operate, seamlessly managing and accounting for the complex financial contracts—like leases, prepaids, and accruals—that are the backbone of modern business. We are not just a software provider; we are the unified subledger that eliminates time-intensive, error-prone technical accounting workflows, ensuring financial reports are accurate and empowering our customers to focus on strategic, high-value tasks.

FinQuery is the global leader in lease accounting (as recognized on G2.com) and serve more than 8,500 customers worldwide. Our growth trajectory has been consistently validated by the Inc 5000, which has recognized us as one of the fastest-growing private companies for five consecutive years.

Solve the Problems that Matter Most

FinQuery is seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and collaborative Manager of Professional Services to lead our onboarding and professional services team. In this role, you will support our rapid departmental scaling by mastering multiple cross-channel tasks to ensure our clients experience a seamless, highly successful onboarding journey across our expanding product suite.

You will balance direct people management with hands‑on portfolio execution by leading a dedicated team of professionals while simultaneously managing your own strategic book of clients. If you possess exceptional communication skills, thrive when working with diverse personalities, and have a genuine passion for mentoring others and driving continuous process improvement, we want to hear from you! This role reports directly to the Director of Professional Services.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Manage, mentor, coach, and train a team of 5 to 8 professional services and project management professionals
  • Oversee timely and successful customer implementations across key product lines, including LeaseQuery, Contract Management, and Debt Management
  • Maintain hands‑on management of a personal book of clients to drive successful platform adoption and implementation
  • Travel for on‑site client visits to deliver high‑touch service, lead key presentations, and provide in‑person training
  • Establish realistic short and long‑term goals for implementation process improvements and manage the team to accomplish them
  • Keep project templates up‑to‑date and monitor project management dashboards within Monday.com or similar PM tools
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, and Technical teams to ensure early alignment on expectations and scope
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously elevate delivery quality and customer satisfaction
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on team performance, project statuses, and key performance indicators to leadership
The Expertise You'll Bring:
  • A 4‑year college degree from an approved institution
  • 3 or more years of experience in a customer‑facing implementation or professional services role, preferably within a SaaS environment
  • 1 or more years of experience directly managing a team
  • Familiarity or direct experience with accounting, contract management, or debt management software
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and in‑person communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suite, Microsoft Office, and Monday.com or similar project management platforms
  • Comfortability with regional and national travel alongside a strong willingness to present to clients in person
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively from end‑users to the C‑suite
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a "think big" mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to build repeatable, sustainable processes
  • Self‑motivated and highly organized work style with the ability to meet strict deadlines across overlapping projects
  • True passion for professional development, setting clear timelines, and helping team members grow their career impact
