Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Lotus Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. and its subsidiary companies (collectively, "Marriott"). The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, termination, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager leads Food & Beverage services and Front Office operations to ensure full compliance with hotel standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role provides hands-on leadership F&B teams and front desk teams, overseeing daily operations, reinforcing service excellence, and upholding hotel policies to create a seamless and memorable stay for every guest.
THIS POSITION IS PRIMARILY SCHEDULED FOR AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position provides supervision to others: Yes
  • Oversees and trains F&B staff and Front Office staff, with heavy focus on F&B.
  • Evaluates performance and administers disciplinary actions as needed.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Hires, trains, and supervises all personnel in the F&B department and the Front Office.
  • Prepares personnel schedules and submits employee records to the General Manager.
  • Monitors F&B staff and ensures service delivery exceeds guest expectations.
  • Assists with managing F&B operations for the restaurant and bar.
  • Is hands-on and physically supports F&B staff to ensure guests are taken care of and business needs are consistently met.
  • Directs daily Front Office operations, including guest check-in, check-out, cashiering, reservations, and night audit procedures.
  • Ensures adherence to employee rules and regulations, reporting deviations to the GM.
  • Evaluates employee performance and administers discipline in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintains compliance with hotel cash control and key control procedures.
  • Maintains a monthly inventory of supplies to support department operations.
  • Manages control and upkeep of employee uniforms, ensuring compliance with uniform policies.
  • Identifies and implements new methods, techniques, or equipment to improve efficiency and service quality, with approval of General Manager.
  • Oversees and coordinates luggage handling and storage.
  • Manages hotel parking services
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required, including oversight and assistance in the F&B department.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in F&B POS systems and hotel management software.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and resolve guest concerns.
  • Knowledge of cash and key control procedures.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Back of house kitchen experience preferred.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality or Business Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front desk or hospitality management roles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of walking and/or standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
