Parsons is seeking to hire a qualified Professional Services Consultant.
This position is a key member of the SigmaFlow software's Professional Services team responsible for implementations and improving the experience of SigmaFlow's client base.
The core responsibility as a professional services team member is to interface and work directly with clients on their project implementations of the SigmaFlow compliance software.
The incumbent at this level is competent in using standard systems analysis techniques and relevant tools. The individual will be assigned to a technical project where the role is to recommend the most efficient and economical means to meet the client's goals and objectives, within the technical boundaries of the application.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Engage with SigmaFlow clients to facilitate project plans, requirement elicitation, software configuration, training, and transitioning the solution to the production environment.
  • Participates in design specification, technical configuration, test planning, and deployment of client implementations.
  • Work on developing technical specification documents for the client's regulatory requirements.
  • Configure custom workflows, data libraries, and developing reports (using SQL) in the SigmaFlow platform following the technical specification document.
  • Become SigmaFlow product subject matter expert (SME), to utilize application functional expertise and relational database design knowledge to configure/develop workflow solutions for the client.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of configuration against technical specification documents and test cases to ensure stringent quality standards are met.
  • Provide adept first-tier support to clients, encompassing SQL query resolution, software troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution formulation.
  • Collaborate closely with clients' software system administrators and IT departments throughout the implementation phases.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with client's end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and deliver high-quality results.
  • Utilize JIRA and Smartsheet applications to support multiple projects and clients during the implementation.
  • Collaborate with the SigmaFlow Support team to swiftly address support tickets raised by clients.
  • Assist the SigmaFlow business development team by delivering demonstrations, occasionally necessitating custom configurations.
  • Support SigmaFlow's energy clients with compliance software to implement workflows for addressing FERC/NERC standards and requirements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job.
  • 2+ years of related professional experience
  • Experienced in SQL reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize, manage, and deliver assigned tasks within stipulated timelines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving acumen and technical prowess.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills suitable for professional contexts, including the capacity to articulate technical data cogently in presentations and written documents.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Strongly prefer experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with project management applications such as JIRA and Smartsheet.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL development.

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
