Position Summary
The Professional Restoration Technician is responsible for responding to residential and commercial property damage emergencies and performing restoration and mitigation services according to company standards and IICRC best practices.
This role works closely with the Operations team to deliver high-quality service, maintain jobsite professionalism, and support efficient project completion.
This position requires reliability, professionalism, physical endurance, and a strong customer-service mindset.
Core Responsibilities
Emergency Response & Mitigation
  • Respond to water, mold, and fire damage losses
  • Perform demolition and mitigation services
  • Set up drying equipment and containment systems
  • Monitor drying progress and moisture levels
  • Perform cleaning and debris removal
  • Maintain safe and organized jobsites
Documentation & Communication
  • Take jobsite photos and document work performed
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and occupants
  • Report job progress to Operations leadership
  • Maintain accurate equipment tracking and usage logs
Team Support
  • Work alongside lead technicians and production leadership
  • Assist with after-hours emergency response rotation
  • Support temp labor crews when assigned
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Restoration or construction experience preferred
  • IICRC certifications are a plus (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.)
  • Experience with demolition, drying equipment, or mitigation services preferred
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow processes and safety standards
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Ability to work occasional nights/weekends/on-call rotations
  • Must pass background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
