Job description

Professional Practice Coordinator

Under the direction of the Director of Staff Education and Professional Development, the Professional Practice Coordinator serves as a key member of the nursing leadership team, advancing a culture of excellence grounded in relationship based care and consistent with ANCC standards and LEAN principles. This role promotes transformational leadership by inspiring and guiding nurses toward evidence-based practice, professional growth, and continuous improvement in patient safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

The Nursing Professional Practice Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining a shared governance structure. Advancing nursing practice standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting evidence-based care delivery. This role serves as a resource for staff and leadership in the development, review, and implementation of professional practice guidelines and LEAN principles.
