4th Grade Teacher (2026-2027 School Year) -ย  St. James Public Schools

Date of Availability:ย August 20, 2026, possible PD opportunities available early August

Job Summary:

St. James Public Schools is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher (1.0 FTE) for the 2026-2027 school year at Northside Elementary School.

Job Summary:

  1. Teach curriculum of St. James Public Schools
  2. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the master contract
  3. Carry out responsibilities as defined by the principal
  4. Maintain good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.
  5. Collaborate through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) with colleagues in order to respond to student needs.
  6. Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
  7. Knowledge of structured literacy and interest in LETRS training or LETRS training already completed; or Science of Reading training completed preferred.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree required
  2. Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification required
  3. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field.
