Job Title: Insurance Agent
Position Summary:
Banco Insurance Services is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Insurance Agent to support the continued growth of our insurance operations in the Elkhorn and Palmyra markets. This individual will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, identifying insurance solutions, and delivering exceptional service to both existing and prospective clients.
The ideal candidate is a motivated insurance professional with a proven track record of sales success, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with bank staff to provide comprehensive insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a profitable book of insurance business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship management.
• Generate new business opportunities within the Elkhorn and Palmyra markets.
• Conduct insurance reviews and identify customer needs for property, casualty, and other insurance products.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and policy recommendations.
• Service existing client accounts, including renewals, policy changes, and claims assistance.
• Build strong partnerships with bank employees to identify cross-selling opportunities and provide insurance solutions for bank customers.
• Maintain compliance with all insurance regulations, carrier requirements, and agency procedures.
• Accurately document client interactions and maintain records within agency management systems.
• Participate in community events and networking activities to promote Banco within our business locations.
• Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Required
  • Active Wisconsin Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of insurance sales and service experience.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a client portfolio.
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between market areas as needed.

Preferred
  • Active Life Insurance License.
  • Active Flood Insurance Certification/License.
  • Established connections within the Elkhorn, Palmyra, or surrounding communities.
