Overview
CTG is seeking a Project Controls Professional III to support a major nuclear development project. This role is critical in driving project performance through advanced scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM).
Location: Richland, WA
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities- Lead project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM) activities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
- Perform detailed cost and schedule variance analysis and reporting
- Support project budget development, tracking, and reconciliation activities
- Provide accurate reporting of project performance metrics to management
- Identify risks, trends, and deviations in cost/schedule performance
- Support month-end, year-end, and annual budget planning cycles
- Collaborate with project managers to refine scope, estimates, and execution plans
- Utilize tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Project
Core Skills- Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology
- Primavera P6 (advanced proficiency)
- Cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and reporting tools
- Power BI and project performance dashboards
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments
- Strong understanding of logic-driven project scheduling
Required Experience- 4+ years project controls / project management experience with Bachelor’s degree
OR - 6+ years experience with Associate degree
OR - 8+ years experience with High School diploma/GED
- Experience in industrial or large-scale capital projects
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and EVM-based project controls
Preferred Qualifications- PMP, PMI-SP, CAPM, PMI-RMP, or similar certification
- Experience with projects $25M+ in scope
- Background in power generation, nuclear, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Asset Suite, or similar systems
- Exposure to process improvement and advanced reporting tools

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $101.00 to $108.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
