Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high quality visual artwork that aligns with the brand's messaging and objectives to support production and digital marketing efforts. This position requires collaborating closely with Product Management, Sales, Sourcing and Ecommerce teams. This role will be hybrid-based out of our Independence, OH office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating production ready product packaging, including artwork and die lines.
  • Designing graphics for various digital platforms, including digital ads, website, social media, email campaigns.
  • Creating engaging and interactive content, including images, 3D, videos, and animation.
  • Developing and executing brand look and feel to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with the brand's messaging and objectives.
  • Work closely with Shepherd Hardware China team in delivering packaging files
  • Create sample mock-up needs for customer line reviews.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required: Strong proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience in graphic design and product packaging production.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
