Strategic Procurement Manager - Fabrication and Assembly

Description -

Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead assembly and fabrication supplier engagements in high complexity manufacturing.

This role is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with fabricators, contract manufacturers, and third-party equipment partners, leading strategic sourcing and quality initiatives, and negotiating complex agreements that support the development and production of PageWide Industrial Print equipment and solutions.

The successful candidate will bring solid procurement experience, a demonstrated ability to negotiate complex agreements, strong collaboration and business acumen, and meaningful experience influencing suppliers to achieve business priorities.


Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relationship Management:Build and maintain collaborative, trustbased partnerships with assigned suppliers, including fabricators, contract manufacturers, and third-party equipment partners.

  • Supplier Identification & Qualification:Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers and partners aligned with business and technical objectives.

  • Strategic Contract Negotiations:Lead negotiations for complex commercial agreements, including pricing, performance terms, intellectual property protection, capacity commitments, and supply assurances.

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration:Partner closely with engineering, customer assurance, supply chain, and finance teams to align supplier strategies with technical and product requirements.

  • Risk Mitigation & Continuity Planning:Evaluate and address supplychain risks related to capacity constraints, geopolitical considerations, leadtime variability, and supplier dependencies.

  • Cost Optimization & Value Creation:Develop procurement strategies that balance cost effectiveness with quality, reliability, and longterm supply stability.

  • Market & Supplier Intelligence:Maintain uptodate knowledge of global fabrication and contract manufacturing supplier landscapes, market dynamics, and emerging trends.

  • Supplier Performance Oversight:Monitor supplier performance using defined metrics, scorecards, and continuous improvement practices, and ensure compliance to company policies.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field,or equivalent practical experience demonstrating relevant capabilities.

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management within high complexity fabrication and assembly.

  • Experience working with, negotiating, and developing contractual agreements.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective supplier partnerships across organizations of varying size and maturity.

  • Clear, effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Typically requires significant professional experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related discipline.

  • SAP S4 and Windchill experience preferred

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
