Resource Innovations is seeking a Energy Efficiency Retail Program Lead to join our growing team in Michigan. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our Michigan-based energy efficiency initiatives. You will serve as the primary liaison between our program and major retailers to facilitate point-of-purchase discount programs. Your goal is to make energy-efficient products more affordable and accessible for residential customers across the state. This role will work with a growing team of experience energy efficiency program professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and may have the opportunity to contribute to additional new business proposals and new program development.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary analyst within our proprietary project management system to track program benchmarks, retailer participation and incentive budget impact
  • Develop and generate unique coupon codes and promotional identifiers tailored to specific retail partners (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.)
  • Reconcile monthly sales and redemption data provided by retailers against internal system records to ensure accuracy in rebate processing
  • Coordinate with retail corporate offices to ensure coupon codes are properly integrated into their respective POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • Analyze redemption trends and program sell-through data to provide actionable insights to the Program Manager(s)
  • Conduct rigorous internal audits of data entries to prevent duplication of incentives and ensure compliance with utility regulatory requirements
  • Maintain detailed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for code generation and data uploading within the project management system
  • Develop and maintains accurate and timely reporting
  • Creates and collaborates on procedural documentation in support of the Program Manager
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity in all internal and external reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years in data coordination, program operations, or retail analytics-preferably within the energy, utility, or rebate sectors
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience managing complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master proprietary software and project management tools
  • High level of precision in data entry and code generation; an "eye for the small things" is essential to avoid large-scale data errors
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines for various seasonal promotion rollouts
  • Ability to translate technical data findings into clear, concise updates for non-technical stakeholders
  • Process-oriented with a focus on streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
  • Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives.
  • Independent worker capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks, proposing solutions, and suggesting improvements to existing processes related to reporting, tracking, and analysis.
  • Able to meet deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in business operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience
  • B.A. degree in Business Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or B.A. / B.S. Degree in related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
  • Experience in energy efficiency programs, retail coupon programs or other utility programs is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $55,000-$75,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
