Customer Service Team Lead

Compensation: $22/hr - $25/hr

Role Type: Direct Hire

Work Environment: Hybrid (Work from home 2 days per week)

Location: La Vergne, TN

We are looking for someone to lead an industry-leading organization on the Customer Service Team. This will be an excellent opportunity to grow in your career working for a well-known company that aims to promote from within when possible. The ideal person will be a great communicator that has the patience and ability to communicate with multiple departments across the organization and lead/mentor a small team of Customer Service Representatives. This role ultimately is key in providing excellent customer service to the clients of the organization. Our client is currently working in a hybrid environment and plans to continue this. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable company that puts its people first.

Responsibilities: Customer Service Team Lead
  • Provide quality customer service to our clients directly or indirectly through interactions with customer's and service providers
  • Lead and mentor a small team
  • Develops, mentors and coaches subordinates to grow their potential and career paths.
  • Assigns and delegates duties to subordinates.
  • Monitors individual employee and department productivity and ensures department goals are met.
  • Assists staff with maintaining relationships and solving problems for customers.
  • Resolves escalated customer issues.
  • Assists manager in controlling dept expenses to meet budget requirements.
  • Backup Customer Service Manager in their absence.
  • Performs essential duties and responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative.
  • Coordinate customer service efforts with other team members as necessary to complete task
  • Serve as an administrative assistant to the team as needed when not interfacing with customers
  • Communicate with internal team to escalate any customer issues to the proper department in order to solve the problem at hand
  • Collaborate with Customer Service team to continually improve internal processes to increase efficiency and deliver quality service.
  • Communicate with other teams as needed to share customer/technician feedback that could result in improvements to company products or processes
  • Process basic communications via email or other basic computer software between service technicians, clients, and internal team members to ensure proper information is conveyed related to product servicing

Requirements: Customer Service Team Lead At least 2 years of experience in a customer service-related role High School Diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred Leadership experience
