Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position that allows you to provide essential therapeutic services from the comfort of your own home while contributing to the wellbeing of individuals, couples, and families in Wilsonville, Oregon, and beyond. With a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, this role is designed for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of mental health.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing for a healthy work-life balance focused on client-centric therapy. You will be required to adhere to a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, while you manage your sessions from an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges and goals.
  • Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using therapeutic modalities suited to the population being served.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, case notes, and treatment planning efficiently and accurately.
  • Regularly evaluate clientsโ€™ progress towards treatment goals and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through scheduled sessions and follow-up correspondence, fostering a solid therapeutic alliance.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to collaborate and ensure adherence to best practices and ongoing personal development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from individuals facing mental health challenges to couples navigating relationship difficulties and families seeking guidance for a wide array of issues. As an LMFT at Desmond Couple Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, communication issues, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in Oregon; candidates with LCSW or LPC licenses are also encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services to individuals and families.
  • Proficient communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and foster trusting relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within outpatient settings, specifically focused on couple and family therapy.
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload of clients.
