This role offers a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technology to provide therapy sessions conveniently from your location. Our telehealth platform ensures you have access to the necessary tools to deliver effective care to clients, while also allowing for a flexible schedule conducive to your work-life balance. Full-time counselors typically work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of hybrid roles combining telemedicine and in-person flexibility. Part-time positions are also available, accommodating personal schedules and team needs.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to create tailored therapy plans that address each client's unique needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated care for clients.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to remain informed about advancements in mental healthcare.

At Head Start Youth Counseling Center, our clients range from children to adults, facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our focus on family and couples therapy allows our counselors to work collaboratively with clients and their support systems, fostering an environment of healing and growth. You will be instrumental in building rapport and trust with clients, which is vital for effective therapeutic outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating an understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

While not mandatory, the following areas of specialization are highly preferred:

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with substance misuse counseling.
• Training in additional therapeutic modalities that enrich client care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, with additional performance-based bonuses. Our benefits package includes:
