Job description

Summary:    
Business Manager will provide support for the lending and leasing process for both CSM Financial and Premier Leasing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the lending or leasing/rental business process
  • Collaborate with business units and Corporate Accounting to ensure accounting accuracy
  • Leverage CSM systems to provide decision-making information and establish accountability
  • Identify and execute process improvements

Duties:

  • Oversee scheduled billing, recording customer payments and data entry functions
  • Communicate subledger accounting to Corporate Accounting
  • Research, collect and analyze data
  • Support leadership through comparative analysis, model building and benchmarking
  • Perform credit underwriting tasks including checking credit reports, credit reference checks, financial statement analysis, collateral analysis and legal background checks
  • Lead past due payment collections process
  • Streamline customer credit application and credit approval process
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions
  • Automate routine tasks and implement process improvements
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with equipment sales and financing is preferred but not required
  • Possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret standardized loan documents and financial statements
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and leverage CSM operating systems (e.g. Aspire, Fusion, relevant PFC sites, relevant PLC sites)
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a professional demeanor 
  • Effective, efficient, and professional written and oral communication is required
  • Ability to apply common sense, logic, and problem-solving methodologies to carry out oral and written instructions
  • Ability to travel when job requires
     

Work Environment, Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to work in an environment to include 8-12 hours days with frequent exposure to weather conditions, vehicle and tool noise, and hazardous materials to include fuel, oil, grease, and cleaning solutions
