This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a seasoned product professional who can partner with executives, challenge conventional thinking, and help shape the future of AI within the organization.
Position Overview
The AI Product Director will serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving multiple AI initiatives from concept through deployment. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, engineering partners, and product teams to identify opportunities, define AI solutions, and ensure successful execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep product management experience, a track record of delivering AI-enabled products, and the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, prioritization, and execution of multiple AI initiatives across the business.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.
  • Translate business objectives into scalable AI product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Guide discovery, solution design, prioritization, and implementation efforts.
  • Oversee relationships with engineering partners and vendors responsible for AI solution delivery.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to drive business value.
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, operations, analytics, and business teams.
  • Establish success metrics, track outcomes, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable ROI.
  • Mentor and guide product team members supporting individual AI initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 8-12+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering AI-enabled products into production environments.
  • Experience with LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, and related technologies.
  • Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategy, challenge assumptions, and drive innovation.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fintech, lending, banking, payments, or financial services experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading AI transformation initiatives.
