What You'll Do:
Lead complex production planning and scheduling activities that directly support manufacturing performance, customer delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on the Master Schedule, demand plans, and MRP system requirements.
  • Forecast material and production requirements to support customer orders and forecast-driven demand.
  • Coordinate scheduling across molding and assembly operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Adjust schedules based on production priorities, vendor deliveries, labor availability, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Partner closely with Rotational Molding, Injection Molding, and Assembly teams to optimize shop floor loading.
  • Analyze reports including backlog, stock status, OTD, capacity, and production performance using Excel and SAP.
  • Maintain and manage work order schedules, completions, and production transactions.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability aligns with production demand.
  • Review engineering plans and product specifications to determine material and resource requirements.
  • Provide regular communication and updates to Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Shipping, and leadership teams.
  • Support SI&OP activities and assist the Supply Chain Manager as needed.
  • Take a lead role in training and onboarding within the Production Planning department.
  • Serve as a backup resource for Supply Chain leadership when required.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain analytics, material planning, or demand management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced experience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing operations, and capacity planning within MTS/MTO environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze production and supply chain data.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong math and analytical skills related to production capacity and utilization planning.
  • Experience supporting molding, assembly, or manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
