Production SupervisorJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead production employees in a fast-paced facility. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee performance.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment and a proven ability to lead teams, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and provide daily direction to production employees.
  • Coordinate production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor production processes and address equipment, quality, or operational issues.
  • Ensure employees follow company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Track production output, downtime, scrap, and other performance metrics.
  • Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management teams to resolve production issues.
  • Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, priorities, and operational updates.
  • Monitor employee attendance, performance, productivity, and workplace conduct.
  • Support employee training, coaching, performance improvement, and corrective action processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift documentation.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Previous Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar leadership experience required.
  • Strong leadership and employee management skills.
  • Experience meeting production schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing safety procedures and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with production reporting systems.
  • Ability to work extended hours or overtime based on production needs.
