Poultry Production Lead
Manages daily operations, monitors production goals, and ensures quality and safety standards are met. They oversee team members, handle shift scheduling, and serve as the bridge between management and floor workers.
Core Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Coordinate workflow, assign daily tasks, and execute manufacturing schedules to meet output quotas.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct product inspections, perform line clearances, and complete necessary quality checklists.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Train new hires, coach staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), execute performance evaluations, and manage shift schedules.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure team members wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean work environment compliant with GMP and ISO standards
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot machinery (Pac Mac Baggers), assist supporting departments (Engineering, Maintenance) with downtime, and resolve team conflicts

Key Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of prior experience in a production, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Poultry processing experience is highly preferred
  • Hard Skills: Technical expertise in operating production machinery, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of lean manufacturing and project management methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, strong conflict resolution, organizational skills, and the ability to motivate a team.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
