Job description

Job Title: Production Team Member Department: 50-Direct Labor

Reports To: Production Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Location: Bement, IL

Pay Range: $ 17.00 (Opportunity for Pay Increases)

Days: 5am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Production Supervisors, assembles filters, filter elements and various components of the filters either partially or completely, working on a production line or on the shop floor by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures

Understand and comply with all Attendance Policies

Understand and comply with all Dress Code Polices

Operators are responsible for the quality of their own work

Operators are responsible for communicating to their supervisor about any issue

Operators are responsible for recording and reporting scrap accurately

Operators are responsible for keeping pace in all work areas

Operators are responsible for learning and understanding safety, quality, cost metrics (SQDC) and how it affects the company

Operators are responsible for paying close attention to detail

Operators must be able to adapt to change and rotate to different sections of the facility based off demand

Skills and Requirements:

Ability to work as a team

Ability to work independently

Ability to perform operations using units of measurement, volume, and distance

Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions (control plan documents)

Ability to troubleshot and problem solve

Ability to adapt to change

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to regularly lift or move 50lbs

Ability to have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and to adjust focus (Corrective lens are allowed)

Ability to withstand loud noise levels

Ability to withstand fumes or airborne particles occasionally

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED
