About the Opportunity

We are hiring Production Associates for a growing manufacturing and warehouse operation in Champaign, IL.

This is a long-term Temp-to-Hire opportunity designed for individuals who are looking to build a stable career—not just find their next job.

The company is looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic who are willing to learn, contribute to the team, and earn a permanent position through performance, attendance, and reliability.

If you're looking for a career where hard work is recognized and long-term opportunities exist, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on production and warehouse operations.
  • Fill, package, label, palletize, and stage products for shipment.
  • Inspect products for quality, markings, pressure, and valve compliance.
  • Perform hydrostatic testing and maintain testing logs.
  • Operate production equipment, recovery/reclaim equipment, hand grinders, and other warehouse tools safely.
  • Enter production and inventory information into company computer systems.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to complete daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
  • Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Stable work history with consistent employment (short-term job hopping will not be considered).
  • Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn company systems. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime as required.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working in warmer warehouse conditions, especially during the summer months.
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen before starting employment.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on production and warehouse position.

Candidates should expect:

  • Physical work throughout the shift.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and moving materials regularly.
  • Working with production equipment and warehouse tools.
  • A manufacturing environment that can become hot, dusty, and physically demanding, particularly during the summer.
  • Work assignments at either the Interstate Drive or Mattis Avenue facility depending on business needs.

This is not a climate-controlled office environment.

Temp-to-Hire Process

This position begins as a temporary assignment.

Associates who demonstrate:

  • Excellent attendance
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to learn
  • Reliability
  • Overall performance

may be considered for full-time employment after approximately 90 days, based on business needs and individual performance.

Interview Process
  • Phone Interview
  • Onsite Interview with the Hiring Manager
  • Background Check
  • Drug Screen
  • Start Date Scheduled Upon Successful Completion of Hiring Process

Who Will Be Successful?

This opportunity is best suited for individuals who:

✔ Want a long-term career, not just a temporary paycheck.

✔ Take pride in showing up every day and doing quality work.
