AT A GLANCE:

Broad River Retail is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and detail-oriented Production Manager to support the Marketing, Communications, and Community Outreach (MarCom) Department.

This role serves as the operational backbone of the department, ensuring projects are properly scoped, prioritized, resourced, tracked, and delivered on time. The Production Manager will oversee all project intake, workflow management, production timelines, and asset trafficking through the department's project management platform, MONDAY. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for project requests, acts as the gatekeeper for incoming work, and ensures alignment between enterprise initiatives and departmental priorities.

This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, creative production processes, marketing execution, communications planning, and production outputs across digital, social, print, signage, events, and community outreach initiatives.

The Production Manager will provide leadership visibility into project status, resource allocation, team capacity, and workload prioritization while driving operational excellence across the department. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborates extensively with enterprise department leadership.

DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MEMORY MAKER:

Project Intake & Workflow Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Marketing, Communications, and Community Outreach project requests.
  • Manage project intake, scope development, prioritization, and assignment through Monday.com.
  • Evaluate incoming requests to ensure appropriate information, objectives, timelines, and approvals are provided before project initiation.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints.
  • Maintain visibility into all active, pending, and completed projects.
  • Ensure projects move efficiently through the creative, approval, production, and deployment process.

Resource Planning & Capacity Management

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of departmental workload and team capacity.
  • Provide recommendations on project prioritization based on business impact, deadlines, and available resources.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to balance workloads across creative, communications, events, and community outreach teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop reporting dashboards that provide real-time visibility into project status and resource utilization.
  • Support annual planning initiatives and enterprise project forecasting.

Project Reporting & Executive Visibility

  • Serve as the department's source of truth for project status and progress.
  • Create and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Provide weekly and monthly project status updates to leadership.
  • Monitor project health, deadlines, and completion rates.
  • Ensure leadership can quickly assess project status, priorities, and department workload at a glance.
  • Track key performance indicators related to project delivery, throughput, and efficiency.

Production & Asset Management

  • Coordinate final production and distribution of marketing, communications, event, and community outreach assets.
  • Manage trafficking of approved creative assets to internal stakeholders, stores, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure final deliverables meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in production methods, file formats, print specifications, substrates, signage materials, and asset requirements.
  • Provide recommendations on the most effective formats and production solutions for various campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the production process.

Enterprise Project Coordination

  • Represent the MarCom Department in enterprise project planning and cross functional initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders across the enterprise.
  • Ensure departmental priorities remain aligned with company objectives.
  • Communicate project impacts, dependencies, and resource requirements across teams.

Process Improvement & Technology Innovation

  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve project workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Champion best practices in project management, workflow automation, and process standardization.
  • Leverage Monday.com to enhance visibility, accountability, and project execution.
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, communication, reporting, and creative workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve scalability across the department.
  • Support the development of repeatable systems that enable Broad River Retail's continued growth.

Vendor & Production Partner Management

  • Coordinate with print vendors, signage partners, promotional suppliers, andBproduction vendors.
  • Manage production schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure vendors understand project specifications and quality expectations.
  • Evaluate new production methods, materials, technologies, and signage solutions.
  • Recommend innovative approaches to improve guest experience, operational efficiency, and brand presentation.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is:

  • Ability to work independently, as well as, in a collaborative team environment within an office setting
  • This role is a hybrid and does require 2-3 days onsite in our Corporate Office.
