Description
We are seeking a Production Utility associate to support the efficient production of quality products with minimal supervision. This role assists multiple departments, performs general housekeeping, and supports daily operations, including material handling, packaging line supply, and other basic tasks.
  • Pay Rate: $20-$22 hour
  • 1st Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, 2-2-3 Schedule
  • 2nd Shift Schedule: 6:00 PM-6:30 AM, 2-2-3 Schedule, which includes a $2 shift premium.
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire (TTH)

Job Responsibilities
  • Support production lines by supplying bags, boxes, and materials.
  • Operate lift trucks to move finished products and raw/packaging materials.
  • Properly label skids of materials or finished products.
  • Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks per company standards.
  • Follow all Mars Petcare Quality Procedures, GMPs, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist the plant in meeting production goals.
  • Complete other basic tasks that do not require specialized safety training (LOTO, WAH, Confined Space, etc.).
  • Note: This role does not include performing quality or food safety testing, sampling, validation, or verification.

  • Standing on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting.
  • Use of required PPE: hair net, bump cap, earplugs, safety shoes, and uniform.
  • Ability to work in hot/cold environments with dust, dirt, and chemicals.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20.
