Production Specialist Opportunity


The Production Specialist is responsible for ensuring all job components are quality inspected, organized, and staged for installation. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team environment, and is motivated to learn and grow. At California Closets, we value accountability, craftsmanship, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done right.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cabinet Assembly: Assemble custom doors, drawers, and other wood components according to detailed blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished products for defects, ensuring that all items meet company standards for quality and craftsmanship.
  • Machinery Operation: Safely operate woodworking machinery such as saws, edge banders, and CNC routers.
  • Material Handling: Ensure all materials for each job are received, organized, and fully accounted for.
  • Shop Maintenance: Keep the shop area organized, ensuring that tools and machinery are properly maintained.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teammates to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.


Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with an eye for quality craftsmanship and precision.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
