Job description

WORK SCHEDULE:     Monday - Friday    7:30am-430pm   
Duties
• Manage daily operations
• Create a factory environment that is efficient, clean, safe, and organized
• Plan and supervise daily production: review orders and establish a weekly production schedule (updated daily), ensure all materials are ready for production; prepare materials each day; oversee production to meet KPIs; manage shipping; guarantee daily cleaning and sanitation; prepare for the next day's production
• Supervise Equipment Operators and 7 Production Assistants – schedule, oversee, and recruit
• Meet daily KPIs for production time, labor hours, and waste
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet SQF standards
• Willing to step into the production line as needed (lifting, moving, organizing, filling in on the production line)
• Embrace a Continuous Improvement mindset: Assist in the growth and optimization of production
Requirements:
• 4+ years of demonstrable operations experience within bakery/food production industry.
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for production planning  (translating Purchase Orders to actual production schedules)
• The role demands team leadership, a manufacturing vision, and hands-on support
• Bilingual skills (Spanish is a significant advantage)
• Familiarity with production planning/factory operations a huge plus
• Experience within baking industry, food production, or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and SQF is preferred
