Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a 2nd Shift Operations Manager ? Environmental Services (EVS) to support operations at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

This leader will oversee second shift EVS operations, lead frontline teams, support patient throughput, maintain quality and safety standards, and partner with hospital leadership to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Job Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Lead second shift EVS operations, including frontline associates and supervisors.
  • Coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable for performance, safety, and service standards.
  • Conduct shift huddles, rounding, and ongoing performance coaching.
Operations
  • Ensure patient rooms, procedural areas, public spaces, and support departments meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Manage staffing, assignments, productivity, room turnover, and discharge cleaning based on operational needs.
  • Respond to urgent service needs and coordinate effective handoffs between shifts.
Client & Customer Relationships
  • Build strong relationships with nursing, department, and hospital leadership.
  • Address concerns promptly, conduct quality inspections, and support a patient-first service culture.
Financial & Operational Performance
  • Support labor management, scheduling, overtime control, productivity, and operational metrics.
  • Assist with inventory, EVS supplies, equipment, and departmental financial goals.
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, OSHA requirements, and Aramark Healthcare+ procedures.
  • Support Joint Commission readiness and promote safe use of PPE, chemicals, and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare Environmental Services experience required.
  • Previous hospital or acute care EVS experience required.
  • Supervisory or management experience leading frontline teams.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, healthcare cleaning standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work second shift and support a 24/7 healthcare operation as needed.
