Job Description Summary
Distribution Manager to lead and optimize our 2-shift warehouse operations. Resonant Kitting warehouse operations includes raw material and component handing prior to kitting, as well as finished goods handling through daily distribution to customers and clients. This individual will be accountable for the performance of our warehousing & distribution teams and will spearhead initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and team development.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages warehouse operations in the day-to-day tasks related to receiving, storing, cycle counting, shipping and quality checks
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficiencies of warehouse related activities involving kitting raw materials and finished goods distribution
  • Accountable to distribution key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support Resonant kitting production departments with raw material and component handling
  • Action plan development and implementation for warehouse performance improvement opportunities
  • Manages the Distribution team and its training, staffing, and development
  • Organizes and ensures successful completion of annual physical inventory process requirements each year to include pre-inventory prep, actual, and post inventory analysis and corrective actions to support improvements
  • Supports short-term and long-term development and implementation of warehouse and distribution processes, equipment, and strategies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business, supply chain, or equivalent related work experience
  • At least 5 years of warehouse management experience in a leadership role with salaried direct reports
  • Demonstrated success in designing warehouse operational workflows, pick paths, and SOPs.
  • Demonstrated success utilizing knowledge of purchasing, shipping, receiving, picking, inventory control, delivery processes, quality control procedures and techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with warehouse management systems and inventory management principles within the WMS environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong data analysis skills and good understanding of ERP systems, ideally with direct SAP experience
  • Demonstrated success leading strong teams through change and growth
  • Ability to efficiently analyze information and make appropriate judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly, accurately, and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications especially, Powerpoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to create a Great Place to Work with a culture of accountability, positive reinforcement, and rewards/recognition.
