Location: New York, NY (Midtown / Manhattan)
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Benefits

Administrative & Operations Assistant Description

Our client, a growing wholesale jewelry company, is looking for an Administrative & Operations Assistant to support its Managing Director and internal team in Midtown Manhattan. This broad, hands-on role includes administrative support, inventory, reporting, presentations, vendor coordination, and process improvement. The ideal candidate enjoys variety, learns quickly, spots inconsistencies, and takes initiative when solving unfamiliar problems. You must have strong Excel skills, experience using AI tools, and the ability to manage projects with limited oversight. Jewelry experience is not required.

Administrative & Operations Assistant Responsibilities

  • Support scheduling, correspondence, travel, and changing priorities
  • Maintain accurate product, image, and inventory information
  • Review sales and inventory reports for errors, trends, and opportunities
  • Coordinate vendors, shipments, supplies, packaging, and labels
  • Create buyer presentations, product lookbooks, and merchandising materials
  • Use AI tools for images, research, organization, and workflow improvements
