We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys staying busy and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. This position supports production, warehouse operations, customer pickups, inventory, and general facility operations.
The Production Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting with daily production activities, loading and unloading materials, warehouse organization, customer pickups, inventory support, and general facility operations. This individual will also assist customers at the counter, process orders, and help coordinate shipments while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
This is a hands-on position requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions
  • Produce and package pavement preservation products while maintaining quality standards.
  • Load and unload trucks, tankers, trailers, and customer vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
  • Receive, store, organize, and maintain inventory.
  • Assist customers with product pickups and loading materials.
  • Process customer orders, invoices, and sales transactions.
  • Answer customer phone calls and respond to product inquiries professionally.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments including UPS, LTL, FTL, and freight carriers.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, yard, and production facility.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs.
  • Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, and facility equipment as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and participate in required safety training.
  • Work with production, sales, accounting, and operations teams to support daily business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, production, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours during busy seasons.

Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Work around production equipment and industrial materials safely.
  • Pass required pre-employment screenings.
