TE Production Manager

Position:
The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the shop operations to include Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery with the direction of the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Allocates resources, provides feedback, and ensures organized production.
  • Assign tasks, assist, and train other personnel to support future growth.
  • Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
  • Issues written and oral instructions.
  • Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Assists with the maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and confer with supervisors, leads, and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving for the best outcome.
  • Communicates across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors that support our Company Values.
  • Advocate plant and employee safety, ensuring all employees are utilizing safety procedures.
  • Perform inspections as required by company and customer standards.

Qualifications
  • Monitoring/accessing performance of yourself and other individuals to make improvements or take corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
  • Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to understand and operate all safety equipment in the area.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to read and understand written or verbal instructions presented in English.
